  2. Many, many species of animals can kill human beings with ease. Most of them aren't even giant, hairy beasts with huge fangs and sharp claws. They're tiny little bugs :)

  3. If you're in Arizona, they have little bark scorpions than can kill you with one sting. Apparently, a whole lot of the USA has tons of scorpions scuttling around everywhere, but most of them aren't extremely poisonous. Their stings can hurt like heck but that's it. It's some of the the Arizona ones that are lethal to humans.

  4. Yes they can, centipede bites can be really nasty! Some of them are very toxic and while probably not fatal for adults, they might be able to kill a child (especially in the case of multiple bites.)

  5.  @doyouhearthepeoplesing2  Probably, yes :) Americans are probably more likely to eat themselves to the grave rather than anything to do with toxic bites/stings, gangs/guns/fights, or possibly even drunk driving.

  7. There used to be some nice bike trails around when I was a little kid, people would string steel wire between the trees. This sort of thing isn't unusual.
