  3.  @Joy-Marie369  I'm not religious and really dislike having it forced on me. But it's considered a matter of historical fact that Mr. Christ was a real person that really lived, regardless of religion. He left quite an impression on a lot of people.

I'm an atheist, I will never be able to truly believe that the universe was deliberately created by a supernatural super-intelligence for the purpose of discovering some kind of Ultimate Truth about the value of consciousness itself, whether biological or otherwise. But if there is only ONE human being I wished I could hang out with in this insignificantly short life, it would be Mr. Jesus Christ Himself. If nothing else I bet Jesus would have been one holy hell of a brilliant punk rock lyricist. And bassist! I bet Scott Shiflett could rock out with Jesus :) Honestly, I'm an atheist through and through but it's considered a matter of historical fact that Jesus Christ was a real-life, living, breathing human being. I really wish I could have met him, without all the religious bullshit interfering with a damn cool hang. Roll a nice doob, put on some great tunes, pull out the ol' bass guitar and just listen to the man chat with me about his own perspectives on life, the universe, consciousness itself, and maybe a few anecdotes about dear ol' Dad. That would be awesome. Especially without all the usual bullshit about jobs, bills, real estate, kids' "education" and all that fucking crap. More than anything, I just REALLY want to know what punk lyrics Jesus would write. I bet it would move me to tears, which is the ultimate goal of truly great art. Jesus wasn't a hippie, he wouldn't sound like John Denver (bless his soul, and that's coming from an atheist.) Jesus was a PUNK.
