  4. High passive income is the battery charger of life. Not jobs, and certainly not welfare checks! But to enjoy & appreciate it you must have good mental health. It's that last part that's really hard.

  7. If it makes you feel better, almost everyone that has kids is invariable disappointed somehow. Having kids is one of life's most overrated antics.

  9. The problem with schoolteachers is that they assume that young people OUGHT to be interested in school. Many simply aren't. It doesn't mean they're lazy, it doesn't mean they're depressed, it doesn't mean they have a bad attitude, it means they ARE NOT FUCKING INTERESTED.

  10. Not to be an asshole, but try hang gliding :) Not that I feel up to it myself these days, but there are tons of things we haven't experienced. That's only an example.
