  6. @jdynasty7680. Our problem in this country isn't the left or right. Nor the far left or far right. Our problem is the uniparty who work for the same donors. It is basically the psychopathic establishment vs the people. So when i look for a leader I don't really look at them in terms of left and right. I think of them in terms of "are they owned by the establishment or not." If you think there was any difference between Bush, Obama and Biden. I have amazing Atlantic Ocean front property in Colorado I'd love to sell you at a really cheap price. The more we argue about non existence things like left or right leaning politicians, the more you're essentially doing exactly what they want you to do.

  22. @Dk-pn8bd. You hit the nail right on the head. A lot of this has to do with what information and from where said information is being consumed from. The older generations have more faith in the legacy media and are more likely to simply believe what they're told. The younger generation is more distrustful of what they're told by the MSM and they have the technical savvy and means to go out and fact check. Take my grandfather for example. His entire knowledge base of the world is through CNN, his entire worldview and everything he knows about the world is shaped by CNN and really nothing else. So what ever narrative CNN pushes, that is what my grandfather will believe. It isn't a coincidence that his is extremely pro Israel. His grandchildren on the other hand are able to consume a wider range of media, a wider range of points of view and compare those views. All his grandchildren are more sympathetic to the Palestinians, which btw drives him crazy.

  27.  @owen3721  You're right, Germany has been trying to solidify it's power in Europe via economics for decades, and did quite well. Those days are over, forget consolidating it's power. Germany is going to have trouble staying even relatively relevant in European power politics in the coming decades. For all intents and purposes Germany is finished. Not sure what kind of mass delusion that society and it's leaders fell into but they literally took out a shotgun and shot themselves in the foot. There really is no going back from this, Germany has dug itself into a hole it probably won't ever be able to climb out of. They have no military power in an age of military tensions nor do they have access to cheap energy which powered their industrial might. Germany is deindustrializing at a rapid rate, few people can see any path for them in the future to retain the little power they have left.

More civilians died in Gaza in just the first two weeks than all the civilians that died in the huge 2 year Ukraine war. You’re comparing apples to oranges. Israel has killed more civilians in just a two week stretch than all the civilian deaths of all wars on earth combined since 2020. Let that sink in. No other nation behaves like this, even while at war.

While wanting to attack the message you end up only with the ability to attack the messenger. This isn’t complicated. I’m not saying he is but it is possible for a person to make a true statement about Israel while at the same time making a false statement about Russia. This isn’t that complex. I understand that for what ever reason you have an emotional reflex to defend the apartheid state of Israel. I also get that it is impossible to defend them using facts, reason or logic. So I really can’t fault you for using irrationality as that is really the only thing available to you on this issue.

I’m not pro Palestinian, I’m not pro anything in that region. However I am anti apartheid and certainly anti genocide. Are you anti genocide or pro genocide? To make things clearer are you for or against a fully mechanized army going out of its way to murder as many women and children as it can. Just to clear things up I’m asking, so I don’t have to assume.

That is why this is difficult for people over a certain age to understand. The media is telling them the opposite and they believe what they're told.

What is going on and how we're supposed to backstop it with money, support and potentially the lives of our young men to subsidize it is insanity.   47. When looking at these stats a lot of this has to do with trust in the media. The younger one is the less likely they are to have faith in whatever narrative the media is pushing. When the media is pushing a specific narrative on a conflict, obvious the age groups with more trust in the media are going to have a higher percentage of people agreeing with that narrative.
