@Milena-yf7cn Generally speaking if you want to prevent war, it usually starts with not invading your neighbor's territory and ethnically cleansing half a million people from said territory. Armenia unfortunately has territorial claims on 3 of it's 4 neighbor's territories. That's insane.

@jora5483 I'm fairly sure international law is pretty concrete about this. Reality>your emotions.

@Milena-yf7cn It is everyone's business when these people are trying to push our government into getting involved on the wrong side of a war.

So let me get this straight. They're protesting that America should help a country which illegally invaded their neighbor's internationally recognized territories and ethnically cleansed over half a million civilians? They want America to protect those war criminals when the victim comes back to push these terrorist organizations off it's own territory? Seriously? Now I've seen it all. What is next, we're going to see the Taliban protest in Washington so America can help them take Afghanistan? Really?

@hayots_lernashkharh Or maybe someone who believes invading your neighbor's internationally recognized territory and ethnically cleansing over half a million civilians isn't cool. Who would have thought right?

@jora5483 Are you that insane that anyone who reflects the reality of a situation you don't like must be from country X? Forget not being Azeri, I've never even met an Azeri. Maybe they're hard to meet because so many of them were ethnically cleansed by Armenians in the 1990s? Who knows.

@mkash4005 Oh I see so basically invading your neighbor's territory, occupying and ethnically cleansing 800,000 people is not aggression? Lets look at some "facts' 1. In 1991 Armenia invaded Azerbaijan. Fact. 2. That territory was internationally recognized as Azerbaijan territory. Fact 3. A plethora of UN resolutions condemning Armenia for illegal occupation. Fact 4. After the invasion and occupation not one single Azeri was left on any of the lands illegally invaded. Basically the definition of ethnic cleansings. Fact. You can be a proud Armenian, a proud American or a proud anything you choose to be. What you can't be is a denier of crimes, you will be called out for it.

@Ala351 You do realize that is the argument everyone who denies ethnic claims make. Oh this many years ago, we feel we've been done wrong so lets simply ethnically cleanse a bunch of civilians? That is a horrible argument. According to this logic are you saying the Azeris would be justified in invading Armenia and ethnically cleansing a million people? Hell when they're called out they can use your strategy of crime denial and say "what about 1990." Then you go to plan "B" that every ethnic cleansing denier goes to. Blame your victims. Sentences that start with "well what about." I've seen the Turks use these SAME EXACT defenses when they're called out about the Armenian genocide. Did you guys all go to the same course for denying crimes or something? It's surreal how similar the arguments are.

@armensarafyan8501 Were the Armenians afraid of god when they ethnically cleansed over 800,000 civilians in the 1990s?
1
@James Spleen, Why would they do that. They want Americans to send their sons and daughters to go fight their war for them, while they sit in California and cheer.
1
@Kyberleon Apparently not enough of them, considering the amount of people who showed up to protest. What are they protesting exactly?
