@Beretta249 This idea that anyone should be shamed of anything anyone in their long long family tree may have done is one of the most ridiculous ideas over put forth. If we were to extrapolate this to all humans, there wouldn't be a single human alive who wouldn't feel ashamed of something or have something to apologize for. When ever you have an idea, to see if it's a good or bad idea you have to extrapolate it to it's logical conclusion. The logical conclusion of this idea is nothing short of absurd. I'm not a European Christian so none of my ancestors owned any slaves that I'm aware of but at the same time I'm sure I can find someone in my family tree that's probably done some horrible sh!t. So I'm now supposed to feel eternally ashamed according to this new logic? I'm not sure I really blame the people pushing this, every society has people trying to undermine it with horrid ideas. The fact this is getting traction and hasn't gotten a bigger blow black is what amazes me. It's a sign of how irrational and irresponsible society at large has become. I don't think this will end well.

Absolutely terrifying video. So John Oliver wants centralized institutions to do more to decide what people around the globe are allowed to talk about? Hmmm

@cheftodaydjtomorrow410 I'm not exactly sure what that has to do with my post. But okay bro, cool story lol

John Oliver is right...... There is a lot of misinformation out there, his show contributes to said misinformation.

@popperpoppler4569 Who said this video specifically had any? Please learn how to comprehend what was written before asking questions.

@popperpoppler4569 Considering he was talking about random ridiculous things people chat about on networks like Whatsapp. Yes fairly accurate. What was more terrifying was calling on centralized media and telecommunications companies to do more censorship worldwide. That's a bit more terrifying than some Vietnamese dude spreading ridiculous information Alex Jones style. That's a pretty dishonest way of trying to push worldwide censorship no? Find the most ridiculous things people say and claim we need worldwide policing of things people can talk about because of those ridiculous things? Years ago when people weren't this dumbed down a video like this would have caused outrage in a free society.

@popperpoppler4569 No.

@khulhucthulhu9952 If something like this brings you to tears, I'm afraid you're going to struggle in life. Yea it's uncomfortable and I've dealt with worse from teachers but "bringing you to tears." Seriously?

@roadtripsquirrel9879 Yea this idea that in America a bunch kids in a random school would have families who have a coat of arms or crests is extremely hard to believe.
1
@khulhucthulhu9952 It's not shaming, it's simple reality. I don't know you why would I hate you? As far as pity, after making statements like that you'd have to assume you'd be pitied no? I mean you're the one who made the statement, did you not see how it would come off to rational human beings? That is akin to me jumping off a roof and then complaining that gravity took over.
1
@roadtripsquirrel9879 Yup, we're growing tired of these obviously fake stories.
