@hui975 it did happen. That was when Trump said “You’re not wrong” to the crowd. Then Adelson panicked, donated Trump 100 million and Trump started ignoring the issue

@la6136 as long as people are intellectually honest I will respect them even if I disagree with what they’re saying. In the vast majority of political discourse in America, intellectually honesty is lacking. Both on the right and left.

The genocide has really exposed a lot of fault lines in America political discourse. I’m a conservative and I’m appalled at how quick a lot of these so-called conservatives turned woke over night when the issue was Israel. How free speech advocates turned into censorship cheerleaders at the drop of a hat. Goes to show how co-opted our society really is. I’m just sitting around shaking my head in disbelief. The most obvious one being Ben Shapiro. Went from “facts don’t care about your feelings to “my feelings don’t care about your facts” People are waking up though, I did. Not to mention that for the first time, I can respect the people of the far left for having the balls to massively protest this genocide. It is obvious now as a conservative that my real enemy isn’t the far left. It is the establishment, globalists and Zionists who use both of us to get what they want

@unbreakable7633 The hatred and violence is mostly one sided. Stemming from the colonialists who just showed up and said this is ours, leave or die. The other side is merely defending themselves from this genocidal onslaught. Giving this moral equivalency is as ridiculous as blaming the rape victim for scratching the rapist's face on par with how much you blame the rapist. Your argument is not only demonstrably false it is ridiculous.

@unbreakable7633 I take it your version of history entails the following. 1. Makes you feel good 2. Easily demonstrably false 3. No facts to back it up. 4. Most likely has an extremely genocidal bent on it. I'll pass on that bro, I prefer to live in the real world.

@avibhagan yup the rational move was to vote for Jill stein I’m a life long conservative saying this

A lot of us Maga people are already on it bringing this up at every opportunity. The question started in its simplicity. Are we America first or Israel first?
7
You're not the only one on the right who feels this way my friend. Many do, if not most. It is just that these are the types of voices you don't hear often because these voices aren't the ones funded by big corporate and pro war money. Watching a bunch of pro truth, America first conservatives turn into identity politics pushing, censorship wanting, Israel firsters was a real eye opener for me.

@artxAf. I too was a huge Ron Paul fan. I too voted for Trump but I can't say I agreed with him on a lot of issues but he still seemed better than a pro war establishment candidate. I'm glad a lot of people are getting out of this sheepish partisanship. If I saw a democrat who speaking to issues I find important I too could easily vote for a democrat. What we really need is an anti empire, anti war machine pro America 3rd party. It would not only be nice to have a government which works in the interests of what it's people want but it would also give the rest of the planet a little breathing room without us galivanting around the world slaughtering poor people in third world nations for profit.

The fracture has a lot to do with the non interventionism streak of many young conservatives. That and the fact young conservatives are a lot more tech savvy and are a lot harder propagandize. They saw through the lies in the build up to the Ukraine war, just like they're seeing the lies in the build up to the genocide to Gaza. And it is certainly causing problems within the movement.
3
I don't think there is a rift on the right. I think in the long term we're going to see a purge in the America first crowd of people who aren't actually America first. Considering how Ben Shapiro is acting, I don't think many young conservatives would be willing to accept him in their ranks. His constantly usage of irrational talking points, his new propensity to turn everything into identity politics and this idea he has that a foreign nation's interests are more important than America's interests are not compatible with the ideals of most young conservatives. Young conservates who are more tech savvy aren't as susceptible the propagandistic programming of the elites via the legacy media either. The right is going to change and change very soon. It is merely some talking heads on the right who are spouting some of this pro apartheid pro concentration camp insanity. The movement will purge them. I'd imagine the establishment left comprised of older people are going to have the same difficulties in propagandizing the young leftists on many issues like this as well. Fox news can't control what young conservatives think and CNN can't control what young liberals think. Both movements are going to have a reckoning over this issue and the older elites on both sides are in full blown panic mode right now. This conflict really opened up so many fault lines in American politics.

Ron Paul was a special dude. It was his age that got him. He was around at a time when the legacy media still had a stranglehold over most people. The media simply scuttled his campaign. If he were running today, he'd get hugeee traction by going to podcasts and what not.

This is actually a pretty well known and often used argument by the craziest of Zionist apologists. The premise is simple. Because terrible things have been done in the past, well... we should be allowed to do all those things today. That is basically the argument this Zionist shill is using but with a poor comedic twist. I'll bet you $1,000 this wasn't his own idea.

@spamfilter32 anything bipartisan isn’t right or left. It is mainly about about expanding the power of the elites. Right and left are terms to keep the people arguing with each other if nonsense while they’re striping away your rights These people will sometimes use the left wing useful idiots to push their agenda and sometimes the right wing useful idiots. They’re the same people who tried to shut down right wingers who were anti vax and the same people shutting down leftists speaking out against genocide

@1Deep43VA Yea he is still around but isn't going to be making a run for president. If I could handpick one guy to put in the white house it would be him. Most impressive politician I've ever seen in my life.
1
@1Deep43VA Well if Ron had been elected in 2008 and won a second term. I'd imagine we'd be living in a much different country right now. For sure we wouldnt' have the poor suffering from inflation and the middle class wiped out. But on the flip side the elites wouldn't have gotten as rich as they did.
1
@kendallandrews8691 The politcians and mouthpieces themselves, yes for sure. But your average everyday conservatives? I'm not so sure. Many are starting to wake up, especially the younger conservatives who aren't as easy to propagandize through mainstream media because they don't watch mainstream media.

@earthling-fh2mg Israel has been a huge blind spot for us for a very long time. Which makes sense considering the insane amounts of indoctrination we go through regarding the topic. It is honestly a lot like the gender identity thing. If the elites push hard and long enough they'll make people believe anything. If they can make a large portion of the population believe men can get pregnant by pushing the issue a few years. Imagine how much headway they've made with making people believe Israel is a normal democratic state shoving down people's throats for decades. We've now fully entered the information age, you'd be surprised how many people are waking up. Especially life long conservatives like me. America first......

This is true, I've been a conservative most of my life and I found the Iraq war to be pure and utter insanity. I found the Libyan war to again be insane. Now seeing my government fund the war in Ukraine and fund genocide in Gaza is making my stomach turn. This idea that all conservatives are neocons/neolibs and pro war is ridiculous. Just the really well funded ones and the loudest ones are. Your average Joe conservative on the street, if given all the information will not be on board with any of this.

Even AI trained to be pro apartheid and pro genocide is like "nah bro I'm good" 🤣🤣🤣
1
@timn5008 Well said time. They love trying to downplay the apartheid state's crimes by equating the rape victim defending themselves with what the rapist is doing.
1
@unbreakable7633 So let me get this straight. A woman is getting raped, she scratches the rapists face during the rape. The rapist then uses his face getting scratched to an excuse to go rape her again. Then you come out of the woodwork saying you condemn both of them. Yup you just did that. But I do agree with you that we should stay out of it. But then again if we stayed out of it, none of this would actually be going on since Israel wouldn't survive 6 months without our unwavering backing. Many times to the detriment to our own citizens.

She is someone who lost her job for standing up for her values. I doubt she’ll hold back on Trump She already ripped him for some cabinet picks
