Depends on how that non-compete is written. Him airing his views on his personal social media account might not be akin to him having a show on network television. So again it depends on how that non-compete is written. Not to mention it will bring into question how far reaching gagging someone's views in public can reach. It's a tricky legal issue for sure. I'd love to see how this plays out.

"Eat their own" Are you even aware of the sides in these types of battles?
2
@zjeee Actually that isn't entirely true. The idea that a contract can't stop you from airing your opinions. It simply depends on where and how.

Imagine a society so threatened by the truth that they're screaming for blood on anyone who dares speak it. Interesting times we live in.

I don't see how FOX is any different from all the other legacy media outlets like CNN and what not. Probably why it simply didn't work out after Tucker started saying things which aren't supposed to be said. This probably also explains why a the machine is working overtime to try to silence him. So no, FOX and Tucker don't really deserve each other.

If you told a leftist 20 years ago that people would be called "embarrassments" for defending free speech by people from both sides. They would have laughed at you. But here we are. We were always afraid of the right dragging us into an authoritarian nightmare during the Bush years, but now it's us the left that are now carrying that banner. Interesting indeed.

@suziestubebrown5397 The most they'll get him for his what they're paying him. I doubt he really cares too much about it.

Number 1 in a lot of European nations too. Imagine being in a position where basically everyone wants to listen to what you have to say.

@FromtheKing1 Except that isn't what the word woke means. At least not now.

Is Twitter forcing anyone to watch it? What kind of alternate reality do you live in?

@Ratsaladin, Imagine having content that people crave so much they don't care if it's in a shed, dog house or tool box. Not the Nazi in the shed though. Tucker is famous for outing Nazis.

@Anonymous, yes indicting people because you disagree with them. Where have we seen this before in history? hmmmm If 30 years ago people told me a large segment of society would turn into authoritarian nut jobs I wouldn't have believed it.

If you told these men that in 20 years Tucker would become an anti establishment proponent of free speech and Stewart would become a defender of the elites and their narratives they wouldn't believe it. They've literally switched sides, it's surreal.

You want to save democracy by making sure one side can never lose an election? Hell why even hold an election at that point? Actually if you think this is a great idea, you could just move to Saudi Arabia.
1
@dadasaurusrex The word democracy has morphed into mean a nation which elects it's leaders. Not specifically a form of government. But how that government is put into place.
