@Menna Mostafa, Greece can't regain it's glory from thousands of years ago because they're in demographic collapse. They're not the only ones though most nations are in demographic collapse. Egypt on the other hand, they're not in demographic collapse but their problem seems to be worse. Too many generations of inbreeding has destroyed their gene pool to a point I'm not sure that nation can ever be a properly functioning society. Chaos will be the order of the day as with most nations which have high inbreeding rates. If the Mamlukes were still around and running Egypt (they weren't inbred btw) Egypt would have a chance. But with indigenous people in charge, Egypt is doomed.

@mennamostafa My info is common knowledge. Mamlukes were not indigenous to Egypt: Fact Mamlukes ruled Egypt extremely effectively for a very long time.: Fact Mamlukes: Being an ethnic minority not indigenous to Egypt also didn't have the nasty habit of inbreeding which means they didn't produce genetically damaged offspring. Fact Mamlukes were wiped out: fact Egypt has been in chaos ever since: Fact Indigenous Egyptians have high rates of inbreeding which causes severe genetic damage; Fact Also why are you so interested in what Greece does or doesn't do? The average Greek thinks you guys are nothing but savages, what do you think kissing their bankrupt asses is going to bring you?

@RottenPotatoMemes That is how it is for most nations. In Egypt it's quite the opposite. The ruling class the Mamlukes weren't inbreeding. The regular population was inbreeding like it's going out of style. In fact they're still inbreeding like it's going out of style. Look it up.

@RottenPotatoMemes https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/6842535/ Not to mention any person who has had any sort of contact with Egyptian populations knows that a large portion of the people they've met are highly inbred. Most Egyptians I've known (Christian and Muslim) have married their first cousins.

@jimakisspd If you don't think a birthrate of 1.1 isn't going to cause demographic collapse on it's own. You don't know what demographic collapse is. I understand the migrants are an issue but no rational person thinks they'll stay in Greece. Why would they? They all want to go to places like Germany. However Greece's demographic problem isn't going to go away one day like the migrant problem is.
