@karenandvlad that is what I would think but Russia doesn’t seem as angry as we think they’d be. Something is up. Same with Iran. It is looking more and more like this wasn’t a double cross, more like a triple cross. Also why is Israel so damned nervous all of a sudden if what they wanted happened?

@bobjacob-ij3mo you’ve been watching too much Scott Ritter in this issue.

@DavidBritton-nl1wv About 2 weeks So yea, Europe can have cheap natural gas for 2 weeks. At a cost of 100 billion dollars for the pipeline. Sounds like a fantastic investment lol

Oddly enough the Russians don’t seem as angry about this as you’d think. Something is afoot and slowly the details are starting to come out. I wouldn’t be shocked if Turkey, Russia and Iran cut some sort of deal behind closed doors. If Russia keeps that naval base in Syria we’ll know for sure. It could come out that Uncle Sam and Israel got duped here

@FunnyBunny-pd5xx clearly anyone following developments in that region can point to one non secular law in Turkey which has been changed. I’ll be waiting for your response with that. Tropes and rhetoric are cheap, reality matters.

@zhenyamugisa9423 A path to send refugees home. I see people yapping on about what Turkey's motives are from people who wouldn't be able to find Turkey on a map let alone understanding what is actually going on in that country and what makes them do what they do.

That pipeline is a fantasy. Pipelines only work in highly stable places. They’re impossible to defend against sabotage. 1. Unlike Syria will be that stable any time soon. 2. If miraculously Syria becomes that stable with a powerful and popular central government, then the pipeline is even more impossible. Why would such a Syria allow energy competition put gas and oil transit through their country. Those pipelines won’t be happening

@paulfaigl8329 I'd imagine Germany is going to have to come to some sort of deal with Russia sooner or later. Or they can just do what they're doing, be forced to deindustrialize and become a third world country in a decade and a half. As far as Lets go Brandon. It isn't really a pun. It is a political reality lol

@Sompionus 1. Like I said earlier the pipeline is a pipedream. 2. What happened in Syria will literally have zero effect on Turkey's BRICS prospects. You have a very childish view of what is going on. A lot like people literally claiming Russia blew up their own pipeline. Easy to understand narratives being pushed. This time oddly enough on alternative media. You probably watch Scott Ritter. Who is great on many issues but on this one sh!t the bed. A few hours of simple research or talking to Russian and Iranian diplomats might have cleared things up for these guys.

@Gerdeo64 Yup a lot of this just doesn't add up. When you look at the actions these nations are taking vs the narratives being pushed by the talking heads on alternate media. It simply doesn't jive. The Russians and Turks are acting like nothing happened between them. Not to mention the Iranian foreign minister in Turkey just chillaxing like he is on vacation at his second home. Hardly something any foreign minister would do after his nation just got dealt what was supposed to be the strategic checkmate of the century. What is more likely is Russia and Iran realizing this wasn't working with Assad, striking a deal with Turkey to have the rebels take over. Iran keeps it's corridor, Russia keeps it's military naval base and they literally made America and Israel pay for the entire thing. Someone got played here and no one is talking about it.
