@chevinbarghest8453 Not sure how that is relevant.

You're right, these things do tend to fall on deaf ears these days. Which begs the question why someone would put forth threats they know will be ignored.

@jamesr8584 Have you been there? Their elections are pretty clean, especially considering international monitors are always invited. Can we say the same about our elections here in America lately? A place where nearly 40% of the population believes the elections were rigged? Less cheap rhetoric more reality please.

@TSammy I'm pretty sure Biden isn't facilitating these peace talks.
2
@Valiere2024 Still doesn't change the fact they're trying to play neither side does it?

Obviously it's always okay to defend yourself. No human being should have the privilege to assault another human being and expect no consequences. If someone hits me, they're going to have to deal with the consequences of their actions.

@Edward Span, that is an interesting take on the situation. But essentially that is kind of how it all worked out.

@Samanyu Kaushal, This action will make it less likely for them to get off the FATF grey list considering the policy of the United States is hoping this conflict lasts as long as possible to drain Russia. Turkey's benefit in this is quite simple. It isn't in their interest to have a war with two nations they have a maritime border with, not to mention the distruption of trade between the parties.

This guy rubbed somebody the wrong way. So they went after him? What he got caught doing everyone knows he has been doing for decades. This isn’t really about democrats and republicans. This is simply about a small elite and corrupt group running this country. The only time they get in trouble is when they step out of line. This guy obviously rubbed someone the wrong way.

@mlsarchitect Secrataries of state and foreign ministers don't involve themselves posturing for local elections. That isn't their job. If you notice it's Blinkin who is doing the talking. The audience isn't domestic.

@jamesharmon3827 The process of producing goods ourselves would be an extremely painful process but it can be done if it came to that. I'm not sure anyone would take actions that would put us in a situation where we'd have to though. Think of how long it would take just to build the infrastructure to start building microwaves and millions of others again from scratch would take. Not to mention the cost. The consumers quality of life would tank immediately. But push come to shove it can be done.

@mlsarchitect Out of arguments I see. Nice. I'd imagine someone not old enough to not understand the job of the Secretary Of State isn't old enough to sell land. Nor would I ever want someone like this as a son either.

@mlsarchitect So raging and throwing out crude insults while doing thing to actually defend your point of view is interesting to see. Most people would be embarrassed at not understanding what a Secretary Of State's job is. You though? No, no no. You just start screaming at the person who pointed it out calling them ignorant. Well played little man, well played. lol

@Valiere2024 It seems more like their policy is to play neither side. Which is quite admirable.

@Akbar Farzin, then why do they seem to be doing the exact opposite of what America wants them to do most of the time?
