  121.  @kingt9922  Look bro, I'm a huge Trump support but what you're saying is insanity. I don't think you actually understand the relationships and the geopolitics involved between us and the Turks to be making a statement like that. Trump inherited a god awful mess as it pertains to the relationship between America and Turkey thanks to Obama. After a lot of saber rattling between Trump and the Turks, Trump eventually found a way to find a way to still keep them in our orbit of influence. No not by putting them 50 years, that is what Obama tried it and blew up in his face. He did it by doing the opposite of what you think he would do now. He gave them space to grow but did it in a way where they weren't growing into a place that would work against our interests. Biden came into office and immediately went back to the Obama policy against them which simply isn't working. It isn't slowing them down and it's slowly turning them into a foe. Which is stupidity on a level that American statements from yesteryear are probably turning in their graves over. Trump on an intuitive level knew which nations to push to get what he wants and which nations to stop pushing to get what he wanted. The foreign policy establishment is back in charge now and they don't seem to have that level of finesse. Everything with them is a sledge hammer and it isn't working. They claimed the adults were back in the room but the reality is the children who like to break things and throw temper tantrums as the room burns are back in charge. The way things are going this really isn't going to end well for us.

  140. @Poil8351. Russia: Doesn't have enough troops in Syria to mount any sort of offensive on anyone. Nor are they interested in pulling troops out of Ukraine to send there right now. A Russia which wasn't entangled in Ukraine would pose a huge problem right now, but that isn't the case. Saudi Arabia: Very rich country which is influential with it's money in times of peace. Is an irrelevant country in times of war as it has a completely inept military. They'll basically just watch this entire thing with their popcorn and hope it doesn't spread to them. Turkey: You're right Turkey would be outright the biggest concern. Because if they ever decided to mobilize, it's GGs for everyone. They'd mobilize 2 million men within a month armed with the latest gadgets and a battle hardened core, march south and wreck anyone and anything in their path. Nothing in the region would come close to even slowing them down and even what we the US have in the region wouldn't be nearly enough to stop them. By the time we mobilized enough to stop them, it would be too late as they'd be sitting in Gaza having tea with Hamas. Col. Macgregor had a nice podcast explaining why this would be the case. But this shouldn't be a concern because they have ZERO interest in doing such a thing. Even if their government wanted to (which they don't) their internal political dynamics wouldn't allow it. It's an empty fear. Yemen: The types of crude rockets they're carrying can't even reach Israel. Israel's biggest threat is Hezbollah moving in from the North if they get bogged down in in Gaza. If Hezbollah have any sort of success the fear is other nations like Syria, Iraq and Egypt actually growing a pair and joining in. At this point we're looking at WW3.
