@Tom Almow, I'm not sure what some random event from over 100 years ago has anything to do with today. According to that logic, no nation should have an opinion about anything. Germany: No opinion on anything because of WW2 America: Can't talk either for obvious reasons. France: Nope stay quiet because of the Algerian genocide (which btw wasn't that long ago) I can go on and on. Your premise is nothing short of ridiculous. If we extrapolated your logic the entire planet would have to stay quiet on every single matter.

@E-Motion. There was massive ethnic cleansing going on on that small island. A majority group was trying to wipe out a small ethnic group. There has been zero violence on the island since the Turkish invasion of the island. 50 years, not one shot fired. It's rare these days to see a military undertaking actually work the way it's intended to.

@giorgismaximos8662 Yes the difference being an entire ethnic was actually being wiped off the face of the earth in Cyprus. It's one of the few cases where the people perpetrating the crimes actually bragged about what they were trying to do. If you actually believe slaughtering an entire ethnic group is a good thing to do, it will be quite literally impossible to find common ground with you.

@giorgismaximos8662 Why is it that every single group trying to deny mass crimes against human use the same exact excuse. Do all of you go to some sort of genocide denial school or something? It's always the same in every single case. I hear the same arguments from Turks when I mention the Armenian genocide.

@giorgismaximos8662 I'm also trying to understand your logic about the Turkey having 3 gens on their record. How exactly does that excuse what the Greek Cypriots did to a small minority group on the island? That would be like me shooting someone in the face and then when questioned about it saying "well see that guy over there, he killed 3 people 20 years ago so me killing one shouldn't matter." I wonder if that would keep me out of jail for murder. You do realize how insane your talking points are no?

@giorgismaximos8662 When a majority group tries to "exterminate" a small minority group , you can't really say "both sides did." Again that's a lot like when the Turks make the claim that Armenians killed Turkish civilians during the Armenian genocide. Yea that probably happened to a certain extent but you can't really compare to scope of slaughter between the two. The claim that "both sides did it" is usually step two in the genocide denial guide book. I wonder when you're going to go to step three, I'd imagine it will come soon. Also if you truly believe an occupation is worse than the complete slaughter and exterminate of every man woman and child of a certain ethnic you're truly a person who needs to be studied. It really shows where your priorities lie and I'm now starting to understand what kind of mindset can lead one community to slaughter a smaller community mercilessly. It's one of the greatest crimes the world has seen in the last 50 years and the fact you guys play the victims is absolutely surreal. This charade can't last forever and these crimes will eventually have to be accounted for. Also claiming another group at 100s of years earlier did something terrible doesn't excuse what was done in Cyprus does it?

@giorgismaximos8662 That would be like the Germans complaining about German civilians being killed and being removed from many areas when the Soviets counter attacked. Generally speaking one one group tries to exterminate another group of people, you get blow back. The ones who first started the extermination are again generally the ones who are blamed for the entire mess. The Greeks in the North would not have had to leave the area if they didn't try to slaughter a small minority group. What part of this confuses you? It blows my mind you're going out of your way to absolve responsibility for these actions. Also the fact you think being a refugee is worse than being killed is outright insane. Think of the mental gymnastics and completely irrational things you're saying just to protect your cognitive dissonance. What drives a person to be this hateful or this crazy?

@giorgismaximos8662 How about the millions of Jews the Germans slaughtered in Germany? The action which the Nazis are most famous for Btw. That isn't similar to what the Greek Cypriots did on Cyprus to their minority? Instead of playing the victim and complaining. You should realize that you got off easy, usually when the ethnic cleansers start losing a conflict it ends up being a horrible experience for them. The Greek Cypriots got off cheap considering what they tried to do.

@Koseku, Nato only has 2 nations which have the capability to fight a long term large scale war. America and the United States. So yea, the rest of the Nato nations sure seem to be interested in their "opinion."

@alex-vl7yf Russia's only access to the Black Sea is for commercial traffic. Not to mention Turkey is the only country willing to send high end drones to Ukraine. What is the rest of Nato doing aside from a bunch of talk and some small arms?

@M St, You can't simply order 100s of drones. These things take a long time to make. It would take 2 years to fill that order.
