Well because our media is no longer independent and I think you need to live in a vibrant democracy to hold your leaders accountable, this is something we no longer have. We were too caught up in our selfish little lives to even care what was going on in our institutions. This rot was highly evident during the build up to the Iraq war. It was then people who pay attention realized that any insanity could be pushed upon the public and would be accepted.

  16. So let me get this straight. All the hostages released by Hamas talked about how well they were treated. The hostages released by Israel showed signs of abuse and lack of nutrition. Not to mention the women showed signs of sexual abuse. Yet counter to all this evidence this woman’s group will condemn sexual violence which is unlikely and ignore sexual violence which was proven. We seem to live in an upside down alternate reality. But it makes sense when half our nation believes men can get pregnant

If Putin is going to take an action to take people's attention off the terrible economy, I highly doubt that action would be something which would cause the economy to get even worse. Lets be a little realistic here. It's a lot more complex than that. These off the shelf easy to understand talking points are getting tiresome, especially when they're so shallow they simply burn up and vanish when put under the microscope of logic and reason.

All of these men empty suits doing the bidding of an elite few who wish to enslave not only us but the entire planet. Is it time to wake up? No not really on that front either, it's a bit late for that. It's reached a critical mass where I'm afraid nothing can stop this freight train. This all reminds me of star wars in a way. We're the republic, the good guys and slowly turning into the evil empire. Done so slowly and methodically that by the time anyone noticed it was too late. It needs to project stability and be a good steward of the currency.
