  1. @Alex Kendall, I'd find that hard to believe considering Turkey has also been fighting Russia in proxy wars in about 3 different places. I think what Turkey wants is quite simple. For Nato nations and aspiring Nato nations to stop funding organizations which blow up schools and hospitals in their country.

Especially when their X generals have gone on record complaining France only has enough munitions to fight a war for 4 days? It's also believable what they're saying considering what happened during the joint American French military operation in Libya. Obama said America would lead from the back and let France do the heavy lifting. After 4 days the French military was spent and America had to step in and finish the job. Is that the "beast of a military" you speak of? Hell if a full blown war broke out tomorrow France wouldn't even be able to take on Poland.

Turkey does have massive issues but again I'm not sure making something which is already illegal, illegal again is going to stop some dude with a unibrow from beating his wife. This is a point you seem unable to grasp and comprehend. I'd imagine it's easier to sit around and virtue signal rather than take the time to understand what is actually happening. I'm also not sure why you'd claim I feel victimized. I'm merely articulating how childish you are.

You also understand that the world set up to run on your emotions and what makes you feel good? Can you also understand that when it comes to public public policy it's always healthy for people to disagree and have different points of view. That it's never healthy for a society when you have a bunch of intellectually shallow people screaming crude talking points which they can't back up so they can shut down said debate? I think all these concepts go counter to your simplistic, selfish worldview where how you feel trumps everything.

  9. First off the infrastructure to bring enough LNG online to meet the entire demand is like 4 years off. Lets say it all gets built, you do realize LNG has MUCH HIGHER costs than simply importing it from Russia.

Russia too has to agree not to shoot these ships carrying the grain out of the area. So yes, both parties had to agree to this.

The Saudis since their inception as a state have been used to sitting on their rear ends while western nations pull out their oil and hand them tons of money. It is for this reason their society evolved in a way where it can literally produce nothing. It evolved in a way where it can have a military which has all the best military tech in the world yet can't produce enough talent to use that tech properly. In fact they don't even have the ability to Maintenace that tech and have to bring in foreigners to maintain their military equipment. Korea has never had these types of problems. It seems you can't fully grasp the intricacies of Saudi society and what they are and aren't willing or able to do. Not to mention the vast difference in the average IQ of Korean society vs Saudi society. The Saudis (they'll be the first to tell you) have zero interest in working hard to build or anything. They'll tell you that they'd prefer to just buy it or hire someone else to do it. That is their mindset and it is what they do.

As long as Finland and Sweden adhere to the deal they signed, they'll be fine. If they don't, they'll get vetoed. It can't really be that hard to adhere to something you signed no?   46. @Spaceman, Russia won't and can't invade Azerbaijan. The military blowback will be a lot harder than in Ukraine. They'd end up not facing a nation who is simply getting help from proper militaries, they will actually face a proper military who will jump into the fold if Azerbaijan is invaded. Azerbaijan is off limits and Russia knows it.
