Are these networks aware of how they're viewed by the public? Historians are looking to look back at this period 100s of years from now in utter confusion. Wondering how this level of lunacy and insanity actually happened.
166
Our mainstream media is like a paid off referee. lol
50
@DisneyCruiseShip So says the person who still doesn't know who drags us into all these meaningless wars.
25
@sandracasso8034 Why would Putin bother, he already got everything he wanted because Biden let Putin have his pipelines to Europe.
24
I wonder if the mainstream media ever saw military action they didn't like. Mr. Biden if you want to protect US servicemen in that region, bring them home.
18
As soon as Biden got elected most rational people could have seen this coming a mile away. I'm shocked it took this long. I wonder which nation we're going to push for regime change in next?
18
A lot of arguments can be made against this. But "The Supreme Court dramatically overreaching it's authority" is not one of them. They've actually taken their authority away on the topic. Can people this dumb really be in positions of power in this country? Where they can't even make an argument that makes sense? Again there are a lot of rational ways to debate against this ruling by the Supreme Court. But leave it to our leaders that even on a topic where they're in the right, they'll take the most insane and irrational route to debate.
13
@jackelstone1502 Cargo ships supplying a genocidal regime? Yes, absolutely.
13
@player24361 This isn't about "asking" people to get vaccinated. This is about forcing them to.
13
@Mike Blank, it's sad if you think about it. Imagine someone being backed into that kind of corner where that's all they have to resort to, to defend themselves.
11
@sandracasso8034 I'd imagine this applies to a lot of people but it doesn't apply to everyone. There are more than enough people who "join to serve." I'd imagine that number goes down every year since the Iraq war. They're slowly realizing they're only serving defense contractors and multinational corporations. Destroying nations is a big business.
11
It's interesting how the media will always protect all these "we should always be at war with someone, anyone" types.
11
@bdfhvxz. Not just in Nato but holds the second largest military in Nato.
10
@Jack Stanfield, millions of people are pushed out of their homes and thrown into an open air prison which is about 3 times bigger than my backyard. Mainstream media is like "aww poor Israel why are people in Gaza so mean to them."
10
@MRfromohio. Are you referring to the 7,000 Palestinian hostages Israel has been illegally holding for about a decade? The UN tried to pass a resolution on that years ago but the state department blocked it from going to vote.
10
@nirmalah2451 except one difference. What that guy is saying is demonstrably true.
9
@dedswift You have to understand the context. The zionists came up with the phrase river to the sea in the 1950s. For them it actually meant the mass slaughter of different ethnic groups between the river and the sea. So it makes sense they'd simply assume everyone else is as psycho as them. To us random Americas, well we said from sea to shining sea years ago. And that basically meant the complete annihilation of the native Indians. So again it makes sense for us to assume that is what everyone else means by such statements. I guess psychos need to realize not everyone is a psycho.
8
@dahleno2014 You might want to learn something called context before jumping in and making a fool of yourself.
7
@JonJon-bx1ww It means that the territory from the river to the sea was theirs and they want the ability to return to it. Btw that phrase was invented by the Likud party in the 1950s. They've been saying it for over 70 years. How come when they said it no one made a stink over it? Not to mention the fact they actually wanted it to mean the mass slaughter of people who weren't the "right" ethnicity. They were quite open about it as well with their actions. So you tell me.
7
@alexanderchambord9850 did one have to travel to Berlin in the early 1940s to be able to say genocide is wrong. Think about how ridiculous your statement is
6
@JohnD-m4j how exactly is Israel an “honorable” ally. Can you please point to nato conflicts in which Israel sent troops. Just one? They don’t become honorable allies just because you decide to call them that. Your statement is not only false but demonstrably false. Honorable ally 😂
6
@crispinfornoff206 You also strike me as the kind of person who thinks apartheid and concentration camps are cool.
6
@crispinfornoff206 Your cognitive dissonance is so strong you literally saying no matter what any says, or what facts are laid you won't change your mind. But I guess to sit around cheering on apartheid, concentration camps, brutality and genocide on a scale not seen since ww2, you'd have to delve into cognitive dissonance to keep that stance no? I mean honestly, who can look in the mirror and admit they're evil? Then you talk about struggling with ethnic judgements, talk about projection.
6
@Waverox You do realize a genocide is actually going on right now don't you?
6
@sps3r654 Trump was unstable and was going to take us to war right? Why is it that since my childhood Trump has been the only elected official to not invade and occupy some random country? That's unhinged right? Makes sense if you're rooting for the "we always need a war" crowd. Fact of the matter is these Milly type characters wanted him out because they couldn't get the pet wars they're used to every 4 years.
5
The conversation was probably the same as anyone who is against this protest. Alec Baldwin: Apartheid and concentration camps are awesome, how dare you protest against it. Protestor: You sound insane.
5
@morehn South Africa was an independent state which had Apartheid as well. Do you even know what Apartheid means? The state apparatus is what is used to enforce the Apartheid rules.
4
I remember in my younger years loving meet the press. The hard hitting news show which would give us the low down on what is going on. Now it's a shadow of it's former self pushing off the shelf talking points like some underpaid shill. This is sad.
4
@Razzmatazz99 you both have zero idea what in the world you’re talking about
4
You have no idea how nato works do you ? lol Remove a nato country for calling out genocide by a non nato regime? Yea makes a lot of sense
4
@Alex Laverick, according to that logic the most recent Supreme Court Justice would have to be held to account as well. Do you really believe she has "no idea what a woman is."
4
I haven't met many and I live in a blue state. Truly confusing.
4
@giannidigianni4173 well, that is actually consistent. They did that to stop an ongoing genocide.
4
@Williamhornabrook8081. That country has been authoritarian to a certain degree since it's foundation. The country has however been staunchly secular but I don't exactly see how that has changed at all. People keep spouting rhetoric like it's turning into a theocracy but would be hard pressed to name one secular law which has been taken off the books in favor of a religious law. It's cheap rhetoric which folds like origami when put under the microscope of facts and reality. It's an interesting election and I really don't care who wins. But what does bother me is completely and utterly false information being spread about both the candidates.
4
I'm fairly sure it didn't exist there to begin with. Regardless of which one of these guys win fascism won't be in play.
4
@Mardamek, Our media is nothing short of a mouthpiece for those in power. Cheerleaders if you will and at times hitmen when they need to be. You can't have a functioning democracy with media like this.
3
@mr.brightside6576 The one time when it actually makes sense to protest you call the protestors ignorant? So you think apartheid, concentration camps and genocide are good things? If so you're calling those people ignorant? lol
3
Abe Sapien I think you're referring to that group we indirectly armed to go finish Assad off no? Also if there was another fanatical religious group growing you can be sure our intelligence community would certainly find a way to help them move forward so we'll again have a never ending excuse to forever stay in that region. Lets also not forget. Iraq and Syria were pretty stable places until we arrived. Never ending wars are pretty profitable I'd imagine, especially when the man in charge are from the companies making all the profits. The OP's comment was spot on.
3
@romancultist6089 Interesting point Roman. Is it your contention Iraq, Libya and Syria were less stable and worse off before the interventions? If so, I have some pacific ocean front property in Arkansas I'd like to sell you.
3
Third world country bro. It's sad to see stuff like this happen.
3
So you're going to actually try to get us to believe that god is on the side of apartheid, concentration camps, mass murder, ethnic cleansing, brutality the world hasn't seen since WW2 and outright evil? Good luck selling that. Although I'd imagine the devil is proud of you for slandering god like this.
2
@ethicsfirst3388 Yea because one day they completely lost their minds and started attacking people right? lol At what point did people decide to throw logic and reason out of the window for cheap illogical talking points?
2
@amitkenan3878 didn’t the Armenians just get their justice a few years ago from Azerbaijan. Who enforced un resolutions by forcing the Armenian militia groups to leave property it was illegally occupying?
2
@romcomfan You working for the defense contractors? Use more equipment so we can sell you war, we don't care who you use it on.
2
Why are Gavin and DeSantis even being covered? Both are heavy establishment characters that have been rejected by the public. No one is going to vote either of these tools into the big office.
2
@tvdinner325 Bot would be saying the opposite.
2
Mz Jazzy 4areason 2.0 That's a fantastic question but I'm not sure it has anything to do with the OP's statement. Even if you believe it was a bad idea to occupy that nation it still doesn't change the fact that we need to protect those people who helped protected our troops. We can endlessly debate the wisdom in invading Afghanistan, pro invasion people would have an extremely difficult time making their case at this point considering how everything turned out. But again, this has nothing to do with the OP's point of getting these people out of there.
2
@kansasthunderman1 Saudi Arabia and Israel that "should be willing" to take them in? Why exactly is that? You literally picked the two nations on this planet least likely to take anyone in. lol Saudi Arabia for example wouldn't even take in a starving 10 year old kid fleeing Syria.
2
I'd imagine it went down like this. Alec Baldwin: Apartheid and concentration camps are cool, why are you guys protesting against it. Protestor: You're insane.
2
@uhadme Nothing will surprise me after I saw the most insane thing a few years ago. Trump says "We're pulling out of Syria." Then John Bolton comes out and says "No we're not." Then the Pentagon also comes out and says they're not pulling out. Made me wonder, if not our elected leaders who exactly is in charge? I was also shocked that there wasn't an insane amount of outrage when this happened. Death of democracy anyone?
