@user-ow1qs7jo7f No organized religion outlaws inbreeding. Inbreeding is a practice in many geographical regions. Can you explain to me why Arab Christians inbreed at insane rates as well? Or why Muslims who don't live in the "inbreeding belt" simply don't inbreed. There is a geographical belt starting in North Africa stretching into the middle east and onto Pakistan where inbreeding is an issue. All people outside of this "belt" don't inbreed regardless of their religion. And all people inside of this belt inbreed regardless of their religion.

@pranabkantinath9581 Then can you explain why Christians in the middle east inbreed like crazy where as Muslim in places like Albania, Bosnia, the North Caucasus, Western Turkey, Indonesia and all of Central Asia don't inbreed at all?

@Kapangdazz Europe never "colonized" Many Muslim nations which don't inbreed. Where as Europe actually colonized for a very long time Arab nations are still inbreeding like crazy. There goes your theory.

@Linda Scully, No rational person would call you racist for making a perfectly logical statement.

Most nations don't have such laws. They don't feel the need to. Most humans have figured out that inbreeding is insanity and simply don't do it.

@sanjivjhangiani3243 And how long have Indians been catholics?
1
Free Palestine 🇵🇸 You do realize about 1 in 10,000 people in Alabama are inbred right? Where as well over 60 percent of people in places like Pakistan and most Arab nations are inbred. Comparing these figures like that is insanity.

@rohand04 The genetic damage from inbreeding causes problems for a problems for a country for a very long time. Indians haven't on mass been introduced to Christian for long enough to have cleaned up the gene pool from the genetic damage from inbreeding. Not to mention Christianity doesn't forbid inbreeding. If it did, highly religious communities like the Coptics in Egypt for example wouldn't be inbreeding like it's nobodies business. There are plenty of Christian communities who inbreed. Inbreeding has nothing to do with religion, it's a cultural phenomenon that certain people in certain regions of the world have. No amount of religious belief or changing religions is going to stop people from doing it. Inbreeding had been a thing on the Indian subcontinent for 1000s of years. Good luck fixing that level of damage. High inbred societies tend to have high levels of corruption, the population tends to be more greedy than your average human and nations with too many people like this tend to be chaotic and extremely dirty. Any of this sound familiar?

@niamtxiv Makes sense, the vast majority of humans around the world figured this out thousands and thousands of years ago.
1
@primearsenal No it doesn't, why do you think Christians in the middle east inbred like it's nobody's business? Inbreeding is a cultural phenomenon mostly found in a very specific part of the world.
1
@hjames78 Actually it's illegal in very few places. It doesn't need to be illegal, most groups of humans around the world figured out the dangers of inbreeding 1000s of years ago and simply don't do it. Law or no law.

@marionetteproject508 Biology says 7-8 degrees of separation essentially has enough genetic diversity to a point it doesn't matter anymore. 1st cousin: Very high probability of genetic damage in the offspring. 2nd cousin: A bit less probably of genetic damage on the offspring but still extremely dangerous. So on and so forth till you get to 7th and 8th cousin.
1
@zaze8376 No it is called inbreeding and it causes a massive amount of genetic damage to the offspring.

It's more so culture meeting ignorance. Christians in the middle east also inbreed like it's going out of style. I don't think any religious book is telling either of these groups to marry their cousins.
