@safuwanfauzi5014 That's a fairly childish version of events.
1
@SparkJoy who funds them constantly changes based on who they're fighting. If the Turks take over defense of the airport in Kabul, you'll see most of the Taliban's funding and weapons come from France.
1
@Michael200 if a Nato member being an ally of Russia was a race, Germany would be FARRR in the lead.
1
The globalists basically took their strategy in America and moved it to Germany. Try to discredit anyone against the policies of the ruling elite by claiming Russia has their back. No evidence needed. It always starts with "intelligence agencies have learned." lol Yes what the media has told us about what intelligence agencies have learned has been so accurate since the weapons of mass destruction they had learned about leading up to the Iraq war. Anyone dumb enough to even consider believing the same lies over and over again deserves this type of leadership and media .
1
And then the mainstream media is left wondering why no one trusts anything they say anymore. Talk about stretching a narrative to it's breaking point.
1
@thor.halsli 1. I doubt you speak for the military establishment. 2. Your "sister" nations don't have any sort of military power which would enable them to protect anyone far from their shores. Nato only has three members with the military capability to defend other members. Your nation and your sister nations aren't any of them. Which is also why these nations have zero weight in Nato.
1
@VGK4EVER. American strategists have zero want or use for an alliance with Armenia. But they will use them as a pawn to annoy Russia in Russia's own backyard. In the past 10 years they've shown they'd much rather play ball with Azerbaijan.

@Sea Horse, This comment legit made me laugh.

@Samangharibi5061 Except there is a Kurdish government. Ever heard of the Kurdistan Regional Government of Northern Iraq? They have a lot of oil, aren't sending it to Sweden and they too are really mad that Sweden is financing armed groups which also attack their government. The fact people live in alternate realities is quite frankly terrifying.
1
@roenin Well Finland isn't supply hundreds of millions of dollars to armed groups who attack a Nato nation like Sweden. So yes Finland probably won't be vetoed. Sweden however, they're up sh!t's creek right now.
1
@diako8263 Having Kurdish ministers isn't an issue for anyone. Having ministers who are tied to international terrorist organizations is a problem. Regardless of their ethnicity.
1
Many large famous nation's products have found their way to Russia. Many times with the company's knowledge. Nothing will be done about it. If you think something will be done, you have absolutely no idea how the world works. Large corporations pushed this year (yes they're that powerful) and you believe that a large multi-national is going to be punished on behalf of this war? Are you crazy?
1
@blackwatertv7018 So you don't find it strange that Sweden is trying to join a collective defense organization while at the same time funding armed groups blowing up schools and hospitals in a member state of said collective defense organization? Awkward no?
1
I have no thoughts on the matter for one simple reason. No one cares if the EU screams or if the EU stays silent. No one's actions are determined by how they will react.
1
@Opponens Periculo, all that is window dressing. Many nations are doing the same and Turkey isnt' reacting like this. Everything stems from one single issue. Sweden financing armed groups which are blowing things up in a Nato member state. Full stop. With this in play Turkey will nitpick at any little thing to keep Sweden out. No government can approve Sweden without extracting a pound of flesh because they will face massive public backlash and lose the next election.
1
@Pat Verum, I didn't realize Nato had religious requirements. I also didn't realize that dictators had a habit of winning and losing elections.
1
@Joan Jenny Sweden is getting blocked because apparently they've been financing an armed group which has been attacking a Nato member. So yea, the spotlight is on terrorist and apparently those who fund them. Finland is fine, unlike Sweden they're not sending hundreds of millions to help kill citizens of a Nato country. They won't get vetoed. It's kind of hypocritical to try to join a military organization after spending so much money to kill the citizens of a member of that organization no?
1
Ukraine is corrupt to the core. The guy probably bribed someone to leave.
1
@CC Finland is far more important for Nato than Sweden. So it seems like a done deal. Finland in, Sweden not.
1
@Panama-Canada they'll whine some more, throw a few hissy fits until they realize no one cares. Then they'll come back to the table with hat in hand.
1
@KB GAN, their issue is they consume far more than they produce. They've had inflation issues long before proxy wars.
1
Love this comment lol
1
@Matthew_Loutner Also the same thing in 1 million other instances war didn't break out.
1
@Duncan Stewart I'd imagine the French are the last people who can successfully mediate this. They don't have the clout or international respect to mediate such a thing. It's either going to be the United States or if it has to be a European power it will be England. The idea of France mediating this is ridiculous.
1
@Jonesjones, If that was the case Finland wouldn't be in Nato. Finland joining Nato really put the Russians in a bind. After Finland joining Sweden joining or not joining doesn't really mean much to the Russians. This has to do with how angry Turkey is with Sweden over certain things. They're simply not going to budge easily. Making the EU request is proof of how much they've dug their heels in. Making requests on things they don';t even want. Just to drag the process out.
1
So Armenia should continue invading other nation's internationally recognized territories and continue ethnically cleansing people? Seriously? That is what you want them to do? My god.
1
@James Gray, to be fair you'd need to understand their options when they did vote. A lot like when we were stuck with either Trump or Hillary. Damned if you do damned if you don't lol
1
@MBBurchette I'm not sure the Navy will risk it's battle groups by getting too close to the shores. China cannot take on the US navy in the open ocean, they'd get slaughtered. But the US navy wouldn't do very well getting too close to the mainland. Losing 4 or 5 aircraft carriers for Taiwan isn't exactly a trade the navy is probably willing to make. We'd probably use our Navy to block all of China's shipping lanes and choke their economy out. Not much they can do to stop that. No way we'd go in guns blazing into the Taiwan strait.
