@Sowdhamini S. Turkey isn't some third rate nation like India where leaders get "deposed." Maybe he'll lose an election maybe he won't. But I will tell you one thing, Erdogan in power or not, at least the people in that country know how to use toilets and don't defecate on their own streets and beaches. :cough cough:
4
@Axel Mannni, I'm no fan of Erdogan but how can you compare him to a man who's population still defecates on the streets?

@gunner9936 Hardly a Jihad my friend, considering Armenia's only neighbor to support them was the "islamic republic of Iran." Even Christian Georgia knew Armenia was wrong and allied with Azerbaijan. Stop making ridiculous statements trying to rationalize a nation invading their neighbor's internationally recognized territories and ethnically cleansing half a million civilians in the 1990s. This wasn't a war, this was basically Azerbaijan enforcing multiple UN resolutions by pushing out a murderous militia group off Azeri territory. More so a police action. I find it interesting you're picking the same side the Islamic Republic of Iran was on. You some kind of Iranian Islamist or something?

@olcayduz431 France isn't anti-Muslim, anti-Christian, pro-Muslim or pro-Christian. France is basically anti-stability, anti-justice. If they can benefit from the suffering of others they'll do it.

@bristoled93 In the 1800s the United States had the largest population of Africans outside of Africa. In the 1800s Africans in America were better off than the Africans in Africa. Can one with a straight face claim that America wasn't anti-black back then? Your argument has far too many holes in it.
2
@tamaiantama Azerbaijan purchased weapons from Turkey, Israel and other nations. Key word being purchased. There was no ganging up on anyone. With these weapons they purchased with their own money to were able to enforce UN resolutions by pushing out an illegal militia group from their territories.

@Pad's You do realize the law doesn't exactly work in a way to suit your emotions. Facts. 1. This territory is internationally recognized territory of Azerbaijan, you can't name one nation which recognizes this territory as part of Armenia. 2. In the 1990s the Armenians brutally invaded this territory (illegally, multiple UN resolutions proving this) and ethnically cleansed over half a million civilians. 3. When the Azeris retook this same area they were super careful with civilians and you only had a few dozen civilian deaths. Look at the compare and contrast. Armenia takes the area, tens of thousands of civilians slaughtered like cattle and half a million ethnically cleansed. Azerbaijan retakes the same piece of land and less civilians die than the average car accident deaths per year there. You'll have a hell of a hard time debating against these cold hard facts.

@pads2017 You do realize there isn't one nation on this planet which legally recognizes that territory as part of Armenia right? You do realize the United Nations passed countless resolutions calling on Armenian "occupation forces" to leave that region no? You can continue to to throw out subjective talking points but it won't change the fact. I understand your attempts to whitewash and deny illegal occupation and the ethnic cleansing of over half a million people but it's a very difficult task you have. You do realize how you're coming off right? Trying to sweep under the rug massive ethnic cleansing and trying to rationalize it? How can you after this with a straight face go after the Turks for denying massacres from over 100 years ago when you yourself are denying massacres of people when I was in high school?

@Frank McComber if the Russians don't do it for them I'm not sure it's possible. The military imbalance between these two nations is far too great. It's almost like saying Mexico is going to invade the United States. It's simply not possible.
1
@ganeshchandra3881 Maybe you guys should buy toilets from those nations.
1
@ganeshchandra3881 I think you know very well what I'm trying to say. Which is why it made you so very angry. It's fine though, as long as you don't migrate to my country and try to defecate in my yard everything is cool.

@mnn7723 Egypt was an ally of Turkey and Pakistan when it had an elected government. When that government was overthrown by a warlord, Egypt is no longer an ally of Turkey or Pakistan. It's mostly allied with Israel and allies with anyone Israel tells them to ally with.
1
@mnn7723 This is true to a certain extent. But they also say geography is destiny. Some nations will be rivals for a very very long time.
1
@Gustav_Kuriga Except they're building a huge military base in Azerbaijan.

@tamaiantama I'm not sure what showing support for a neighboring country which is trying to enforce UN resolutions by kicking illegal militia groups out of their country has anything to do with the foreign policy of X or Y nation against China. The 800lbs in the room is the fact the Armenians invaded their neighbor's internationally recognized territory and ethnically cleansed over half a million people, that's what started this conflict. I'm not too interested in what the president of country X or country Y showed up at who's parade. So my question to you is this, do you or do you not condone the ethnic cleansing of over half a million people. Yes or no
1
@0 to infinity I'm not exactly sure what Azerbaijan pushing illegal militia groups off internationally recognized Azeri territory has to do with Turkey showing the world no one cares about democracy? What ever you're smoking, you should start selling that stuff. It's stronggggggg stuff.
1
@Adinovasi You under estimate how powerful the stuff you're smoking is. Market it and sell it, you'll be rich.
1
@Adinovasi How exactly has their population shown they don't care about secular democracy? Can you name one secular law which has been repealed in their nation? I don't know much about Tayyip and Modi but I'm not sure how Trump ended up on that anti democratic list. He was elected as president no? I'm fairly sure Tayyip or how ever you spell his name is also winning elections. As far as Modi I really can't say much, it's hard to comment on a nation where 60% of their people still defecate in the streets.
