I can tell you why. We have this really bad habit of calling anyone colonized a terrorist for daring to resist against the occupier. Remember our government had designated Nelson Mandela a terrorist too for a long time.

@Arbsa5533. As an American I have something to tell you. It is too late, we've already lost the credibility you speak of. I don't think people fully appreciate the uproar around the globe and level of anger toward us. The fall out from this will last at least 50 years if not more. Our grandchildren are going to curse us over this. They're going to know what the Germans feel like today for that nation's past crimes.

@Nimrod85 Oh absolutely. It's a nation which has 1000s of years of experience in running a government. it's institutions can withstand massive changes and instability without breaking down. Saudi Arabia on the other hand is a ticking time bomb, if the royal family falls that nation will plunge into a level of chaos which might not be repairable. Nor do they have experienced institutions who can hold things together if the government collapses. This is not the type of nation you really want having nukes. The Saudi model works, for now but a fatal blow will kill it. They don't have the institutions to guide the country through a collapse of it's government. Such a nation having a nuke is outright terrifying in the long term. It's akin to Pakistan having a nuke which also terrifies me.

@Seanocarolan359 What is it with the Irish people and their ability to not only be on the right side of every issue from the start but also have the balls to be outspoken about it (even when it isn't popular to do so) I think the Irish people are the only people on this planet who literally have the respect of all people from all civilizations. In East Asia they're respect, in Africa they're respected, in the Islamic middle east they're respected, in South America they're respected and in North America they're respected. Anyone who thinks Genocide Joe has an ounce of morality in his old and decrepit body needs to have their head examined. He is backtracking because they weren't able to calculate the amount of information getting out due to social media. They're so used to controlling the flow of information they literally thought they could do it and no one would notice. @clarence_13x. I don't want to be mean here bro but I blame the people who voted for him. The reason we have so many psychos in office is because we as a people have become lazy. It was obvious from day 1 when Genocide Joe made his cabinet picks public that they were going to spark lots of conflict. All anyone had to do was do a few google searches on the people he wanted in his cabinet, all war mongers. I remember the day he won I turned to my wife and said "annddd the wars are about to start." Our laziness and apathy into just letting the media tell us who to vote for caused this. 700,000 dead soldiers in Ukraine. 5,000 dead children in Gaza. 7,000 women dead in Gaza. We did this with our votes. To be clear I'm not the biggest fan of Trump. But I was aware that he was the only president in my lifetime that didn't run around the globe killing poor people in third world countries.

@Martinlopez7714, I'd imagine the less nukes in a given region the better. I can see why Iran wants one considering they've been under the threat of an Iraq style invasion for a while now. Maybe you can make an argument for Turkey as they feel it's befitting a nation of their stature to have one. But Syria, Egypt and Saudi Arabia have absolutely no use for Nuclear Weapons. Nor would it be safe for unstable nations like those 3 to have one.

@Xx-xd3zo This is demonstrably false. He "leaned" on Egypt to help Israel ethnically cleanse Gaza. Egypt refused. As far as the aid, Egypt was trying to get that aid in from day 1 because of the amount of pressure their government is under from the people. Israel shot a few tank shells over to Egypt, as a mini threat to Egypt as to what would happen if they let the aid through. Genocide Joe had no problem with this. Israel later said in public that any aid truck Egypt was going to let through into Gaza was going to be bombed. Again Genocide Joe had no problem with this. Stop spreading fake news. And if you are going to spread fake news, don't make it so bad that it is so easy to debunk.

The answer is absolutely nothing. For all of Israel's bellicose rhetoric, the reality is there is very little Israel can do. Hell Iran wouldn't even be trying to get a nuke without Israel's insane aggression toward events it doesn't like. Ideally both should be disarmed. The ball is in America's court, not Israel's. This is so true about the media using the term genocide so loosely. If we actually think of recent conflicts there have been many instances where they've been screaming genocide. 1.Azerbaijan Armenia war. Huge war where only 27 civilians died. The media was screaming genocide on all their segments about it. 2. Russia Ukraine war. Another huge war which has lasted almost 2 years and nearly 700,000 soldiers have died. In relation the civilian death toll is quite low. But the media screams genocide. 3. Turkish incursion into Syria a few years ago. Something like 4 civilians died in the entire conflict. Media was screaming genocide. Now we have the Israel assault on Gaza where they have killed more children in 2 weeks than all the wars on the planet combined since 2020. But the media won't use the G word. So far as I can tell the media has their own internal rules on when they will use the G word. When it is not a genocide, they'll scream genocide. When it is an actual genocide, they'll be really quite about it. But then again how can anyone be surprised, this is the same media who tricked otherwise well meaning people into voting for Genocide Joe.

Also the longer Israel runs an apartheid state, the longer it keeps a concentration camp and the longer it continues to brutalize women and children. The harder it will be for anyone to get along with them around the globe, let alone that region. I don't think you truly appreciate how much outrage there is around the globe. Especially nations which aren't as propagandized as we in America are. They're watching all the footage unfiltered by CNN. The world hasn't seen this type of brutality toward women and children since WW2 and people are in shock.
