  1. This is a big problem here. The perp already demonstrated violence with a gun. WHY in the world are you asking the perp to drop the gun. You're giving the perp the chance to do further harm to the public and the officer. IMMEDIATELY engage the perp with all means possible to end him from doing so. This is WAY past the point of giving commands.
