  4. It really is redundant to send people to Mars. It's a rich man's ego that wants to send people to Mars. The best humanity can and should do is send probes and rovers. Humanity will never populate Mars. We'll just end up destroying that as well. Observe the distant galaxies and stars from home, Earth.

  6. NASA/SpaceX doesn't need a moon base for a start point to Mars. We can build a Space garage in orbit (Joe's Garage) Build the ship, the fuel, materials and starting point in orbit and off we go. Moon base is just to expensive and time consuming.

  12. Yup. The best humanity can do is send probes or rovers. Sending people to Mars is a rich man's ego trip. No reason to send people to a planet we won't populate. We can't even take care of our own planet and people.
