@andrewcooper103 Firstly, since the Romans invented the place, Palestine was always a vaguely-defined area of land. It is & never was a Nation-State. Secondly, Usrael has 2 million Arab citizens so it is hardly ethnically-pure (which is your statement might suggest).

@davereynolds3403 That is the problem of the W. Bank arabs themselves. They actively de-nationalized their own Jordanian identity. They threw away their own Jordanian passports and ripped apart their Jordanian ID cards. So it is their fault !
