At the most, Israel and Egypt both controlled what's going in and out. But then there is a reason for that - even the authoritarian regime in Egypt hates the Nazis of Hamas.

  15.  @AlexTrevelyan  I'm anycase, Israel left Gaza in 2005. In 2007, the highly corrupt Palestinian authority was toppled by the fanatical Nazis of Hamas. The people who had supported the Authority were murdered off by the Nazis. At that point, Israel cut off some of it's utilities and attempted to control the Nazis economically. There were periodic small wars and also Israel attempted to bribe the Hamas Nazis with Billions of $ from Qatar. Eventually, there was the October 7th atrocities and where we are now.
