These chaps have a horrible tendency to rebrand themselves every few decades - in order to maximally leverage their Jihadi war claims. Also, the Israelis already WERE the 'PALESTINIANs" before 1948 ! . Look at these terms - they were all Jewish, Hebrew-speaking entities during the 1940s. Palestine Post Palestine Brigade Palestine Football Team Palestine Philharmonic Orchestra Anglo-Palestine Bank Joint Palestine Appeal (this one kept its name until 1973) For both these major reasons, most Israelis say "the so-called palestinians"

  2.  @olgasokurova9559  Well, October 7 is the worse single atrocity for the Jews since events on continental Europe in 1945. It has radically changed the Israeli political scene in ways that are not entirely clear yet. Essentially, the entire 'land for peace' experiment that started in the 1990s has now ended. Israel will have to stay in Gaza for all eternity - and someone else will have to move if they disagree with that.

  3.  @SM-fk5or  Israel left Gaza in 2005. So there was no occupation of Gaza until October 7. The process of disengagement from Judea & Samaria also started in 2005 with the dismantlement of 4 settlements. But since the Terror / Jihad / Murders/ Rocket Attacks & General Fascism continued, the leftist government was VOTED OUT in 2009. Thus, the disengagement policy stopped.

  17.  @johnou.k.3780  Psst The Arab elites hate Hamas just as much as Israelis do. Hamas is funded by Iran whose final aim is to overrun the Sunni Muslim States and install puppet governments there. Hamas is an offshoot of the Muslim Brotherhood, which is banned in Egypt, Saudi Arabia, Jordan, UAE and Oman. The Arab government cannot openly support Israel but they stay relatively quiet.
