  1. Dan: There are no musical bands right now because there are only a finite number of cords and tunes that can be invented. Until about 10-15 years ago, one could get away by "borrowing" some music from some remote, unknown foreign song and "adjusting" it. With the introduction of the latest audio software this type of activity is easily detectable as fraud. Hence, no rock n roll bands.
