@andrewgoldman9019 There was never much fighting. The Native Americans caught smallpox, malaria, typhus, tuberculosis, leprosy or a disease they had no immunity to, and died or became too weak to fight.

@jdshemp Any fighting tend to occur several centuries after first contact between natives and settlers. Then, the natives had developed some disease immunity.
