Why is Cenk so offended by the "Sincerely yours" part? The guy is obviously a fucked up person. He wanted to make it right for everybody's karma. He still has the stigma of being a rapist. He still has it tattooed to his soul. It's fucked up but he's paid his debt. Leave him be.

@kamijk Now the whole thing about her being a natural blonde may give some support to your notion that he's re-living that situation. And who knows, he might've done again without having been prosecuted. But as far as I'm concerned, he got convicted of & punished for 1 crime. It sucks that he only did 6mos. But there's no need to pile on either. Wanna object? Okay. Object to the legal system that let him slip through the cracks while non-violent criminals get googobs of time in prison.

@Rikortez That's silly. Unless he killed someone, death is not an appropriate penalty for the crime he committed. You think no 1 deserves a 2nd chance but you're not a legislator, judge & I doubt you've ever sat on a jury. So fuck your opinion. The woman evidently moved on to some degree so it's not like he ruined her such that she could no longer function. But you want him dead ex post facto? It's your brand of stupidity that is the problem here. He paid his debt. It's done.

@kamijk That's 1 way to look at it. Another way could be that he was operating on bad legal advice. Let's be honest though. He's obviously not a monster if he was sentient enough to write the letter in the 1st place. I'm not a rapist nor have I ever been a victim. But I reckon some heinous shit like that will stick to a person. Yes, the letter was obviously cathartic for him. But neither you nor I can discuss his real motives because we're just people on youtube.

@Rikortez So he killed her?

@kamijk No. He's a human being that committed a monstrous violation of another person's dignity & physical being. Yes. What he did was vile. But that doesn't make him a monster. It makes hima person with deep-seeded, emotional problems.
