The data today states that more good guys (FAMILY members) die & sustain injuries by accidental discharge & inadvertent discharge at the wrong person than bad guys are shot by the make my day law.   2. It's not the same scenario because The guy with the knife didn't potentially jeopardize the rest of the people at your work. The guy with the knife isn't facing federal time when he gets caught. The guy isn't trying to mug you, he's mugging your work where the property is insured & is much less valuable than a human life. I completely agree with what Nicholson did. But, I also agree that he potentially put some people in danger too.

I guess the difference is that they're Iranians not Americans therefore they don't have a right to defend themselves by "keeping the rest of the world honest" with guns of their own.

Whether or not southparker is intellectually strong enough to follow is up to question. But I must say, it's sure fun laughing at these short dicked, inept, gun huggers. They're worse than PETA.   11. No it's the absolute truth. Check the CDC's stats on handgun deaths. The data is clear: People don't use proper judgment & they end up shooting the wrong folks. Errant bullets kill people more often than properly mailed ones. I'm all for gun ownership being an accessible PRIVILEGE not a RIGHT. Why? If some people aren't fit to drive a car then some people aren't fit to own a lethal weapon.

  13. Hey southparker. Your data analysis is dead wrong. It doesn't consider the fact that more than half od gunshot deaths & injuries are from suicide or attempted suicides. In addition, >80% of the victims were known by the shooter. I'd hazard that prosecution rules it a homicide or homicide of the reckless ilk because of the poor safety procedure (as you mentioned). Dude, most people aren't fit to be driving cars let alone fit to be handling firearms. More guns = more violence; not less.
