i don't see where i called you republican. neither do you. you see where i called the adversarial attiudes with regards to a 2 party system. just because the constitution doesn't say it doesn;t mean that the gov't isn't responsible for action if there's impending danger. hannity treated bush with kid gloves. but thanks for bringing me back to the thesis of stupidity on part of free marketeers like yourself. the theory doesn't work because abject greed is not self-regualting; never has been...

no. we liberals, leftists & radicals blame your stupidity, not your policy. there's a difference. but i guess it takes an "elitist" to notice nuances. it also takes an idiot to see things as us vs. them or dems vs. repubs. it's idiots like hannity that'd use the poll results from FNC viewer polls (or flat out fabricate data) to validate a point. "power grab"? this is who the people wanted. most of the right wing, GOP & neocons are squeezing sour grapes

"duuuh" is right. you didn't do any homeowrk. you were talking out of your ass & i called you on it.

that's funniewr than i can ever explain. juvenile as hell, but funny. yes, the obama youth brigade continues to twist their peachfuzz mustaches while spending federal money top rebuild infrastructure. AND, they're audacious enough to think they deserve an education that might even be competitive with the rest of the planet's intelligentsia. what's next? are they gonna use guerilla tactics to lower the prices of grain & vegetables? lemme guess, they're WORRIED ABOUT THE PLANET TOO. LIBS?!?!?!

actually, cenk HAS remarked on that. so have more than 1 commentator on msnbc. get your facts before you comment

au contraire. there was a recession from 3/01-11/01, just not of this magnitude. but this is all a function of diminished GDP. we don't produce anything & our dollar's value is predicated on debt not gold or real economic stake. perhaps that person was trying to say that there's upstrokes & downstrokes iun the overall cycle

lmao @ "traditionally corrupt state". dude, that doesn't even mean anything. judging from the gross state product, that corruption serves IL well. spare me the nonsense about corruption. we live in america. case closed. yes, mccain IS a moderate; relative to the wing nuts, neocons & bible humpers in his party. but here's the deal: this is AMERICA. you have a right to stay home too. spare me the indignance. spare me the rhetoric. be part of the solution (at a local level) OR stfu. nuff said

mccain is right about some things. the primary thing is that we can't worry so much about gov't. if you wanna change the world for the better, teach an illiterate person to read, be a schoolteacher, mentor a child that needs it, run for office, feed a hungry man, raise money for a charity you trust. otherwise, stfu let people work. a 9yo boy who raised enough scoot to build water filtration devices for 250 communities in africa. now THAT'S CHANGE. enough w/ youtube circlejerking & FME theory

so what i'm saying is multi faceted. 1) blaming the gov't is silly because you assume it's efficient enough to hinder people; it's really not 2) the former regime was problematic because the deregulations facilitated unemployment; hence, more pull on resources than push 3) the 'free market' is not the answer. there's no modern model of 'free market' where it's regualted itself such that the little guy isn't exploited; if so, show me 4) blaming THIS regime for 8yrs of residual neglect is mental

...and the branches may be bought but consequently, jobs get lost. hence MORE unemployment. the problem with the economy is that our dollar is devalued because we don't produce anything. there's no ownership of any production. our jobs have been shipped overseas... because of what? DE-regulation? i'm not suggesting all out trade embargo but trade levies & incentives aren't unreasonable. but the free market is counter intuitive to any other agenda than money. money ain't america's only agenda
