You talking about "weakening" the races when in reality, mixing across race lines improves the chance of breeding out some diseases that may be from genetic predisposition.   8. He denied them basic right. If a physician decides he'll deny care, he's committing malpractice. The judge was either appointed or elected. He took an oath to uphold the law. An interracial marriage is completely legal. Saying that he won't perform the ceremony is an exact dereliction of his job description. For what it's worth, he won't go to jail because it's hard to call his actions "criminal". BUT if the couple files suit, they'll most likely win.

  9. What I'm trying to say is that this is garden variety racism. His prejudice led to his policy & practice. It's 1 thing for me to think a White guy sucks in basketball because he's White. It's altogether different for me to freeze him out because of what I think. In this case, the guy froze out the couple. That's the very definition of racism.

  11. But ultimately, you're using the abstraction of "race" to predicate your argument. Yes there's some subtle differences at small levels but truthfully, the concept of race is all in your head. ie, I can't fuck a female crocodile & get a raptor 9mos later nor can I get another human being. But I can fuck an Indian, White, Chinese, Native American, Mowry, Inuit, Arab, Hispanic, Berber or Turkish woman & we'll have a beautiful, brown child in 3/4 of a year. Therefore you can't use that premise.
