  1. i'm gonna go against the grain here. why? because i can't fathom why the officer would pull out the gun & flat out shoot the kid. as someone who's handled handguns before, this appears to be more a case of poor gun safety. BUT, i can't exactly explain why we felt the need to draw down on a a man that was already laying prone. perhaps it was to deter other people from getting involved. i dunno. but it will be prosecuted as murder & i hope he gets the whole book

  2. my friend, this is america. all americans are entitled to habeas corpus (although young brother grant's rights weren't recognized). believe me, i'm as angry as you are. as a young black man, as a citizen of the planet earth & as someone who has had his rights violated by police; i identify. BUT, none of that detracts from officer meserle's rights. lets the court make a judgment, THEN fry him

  5. there's a reason they use due process & the policeman hasn't said a word yet. i don't deny the tragedy or the act that predicated it. but sticking a needle in the cop's arm will only leave 2 men dead. it won't bring the kid back. so let him have his day on court. see, we have to have some faith in the justice system & the fair judgment of the selected jury. otherwise it all falls apart
