  1. What Reid said doesn't bug me as much as the truth of what he said. If we're presented with a dark skinned, Blackman who does speak in a "negro dialect", that is qualified & endowed, is he any less American & therefore less viable to POTUS? Nope. But as it stands, someone has to be "whitewashed" in order ot be palatable to most Americans. The real problem here is that the farmer in Kansas thinks the kid from the projects is somehow, less American.
