  3. Dr. Bao reported that Trayvon was 71" long & weighed 158lbs. That's not 140lbs but it's still 20lbs lighter than George Zimmerman at 180. You're mincing words. In any case, being overpowered in a fight isn't being killed or maimed. In fact, before the gunshot, a witness was noting as telling the 2 combatants that he was calling the police. There's no excuse for what George did.

  4. And hey, let's not completely jump the gun (no puns intended). Zimmerman's dad has some political juice as he's a retired judge. But the glaring question remains in my mind is would a Blackman be walking free after shooting a Hispanic/White boy? That's a "most definitely NOT"; not a "think so".

  7. I can definitely get my head around your comment. BUT, the fact that Zimmerman kept mentioning Trayvon's race is something I can't ignore. Teh fact that George is a CrimJus major & that system tends to pursue Blacks & Hispanics more aggressively than any other, race identified groups is also something I can't overlook. But most of all, I have to ask the most obvious question: if the races were reversed & George was Black, what are the odds he'd be in jail right now? Be honest.

  9. That's not exactly true. I'm Black & I don't hate any "race". If I've a problem with a person, it's the person. Also, Blacks & Hispanics intemingle all the time. I've seen more than my share of swirl babies & swirl adults. Hell, my own Grandpapa, Oscar, married a Blackwoman from Louisiana. I'm Black but I look Hispanic & Mexicans come up to me talking spanish all the time. Thank heavens I learned the language at a young age.

  12. Ultimately, we need to become educated about each other. I also think the Western construct (if that means anything) needs to cop to what they've done to the rest of the planet. Colonializtion has ruined the brain trust & infrastructure of entire continents. Then they've put their own people in power as a means of systematically bleeding the land for all the natural resources. That's a big deal. We gotta be honest about it.
