  1. You missed the point, Jim. Gov't can't regulate free expression. The baker is a fuckwit & a dumb businessman BUT, he has the right to refuse service as long as he doesn't accept public service. ie, he can't call  the cops if his store gets robbed.

  2. TheGeckoNinja  It's a good premise but you're forgetting about the 1st Amendment's protection of free expression. It'd be different if he were actively persecuting homosexuals or even being violent but that's not the case here. A non-action is a passive & peaceful protest. And no, the gov't can't force a small business to do trade with anyone. That's an artificial regulation. That's a no-no.

  3. He needs to appeal the judgement. You can't force him to bake a cake. Gov't can't regulate free speech.
