All jokes aside, I doubt the colonies would've even wanted independence if they were represented in the 1st place. Now as far as (non-gridiron) football goes...

  3. Well put. People need to stop evoking that narrative & wrapping themselves in the majesty of an America that never existed. The founding fathers were pissed about money. If the colonies simply had proportionate delegation in the 1700's, we'd all be speaking cockney here today.
