  1. @echosixnoble Atheism has nothing to do with belief you nitwit. Atheism is DISBELIEF & asking for PROOF. It's not a case of 1 belief being better than another. It's a case of religious people not having independent ideas or using reasonable critical thinking when examining their own dogma. That God-given brain you have isn't to prevent skull collapse. You gotta use your head to think.

  3. @echosixnoble Dude, this ain't about right or wrong, belief or disbelief. This is about philosophy (the quest for truth). Atheist philosophy asks for empirical evidence. That's not being a "douchebag" that's demanding something more tangible than biblical fairy tales. YES, people need to be made to feel uncomfortable sometimes in order to make them explore what these safety zones really are. It's cool to say "evolution is untrue"... until you catch tuberculosis & need modern protocols therapy.

  4. @echosixnoble There's no understanding deficit. I'm giving you context as to why atheists are that way. Call them douchebags or not, there's nothing wrong with intellectual curiosity. If you're okay with people believing in bullshit narratives like Creation, Immaculate Conception or Noah's Ark, that's fine. But as an intellectual, I thikn it's necessary to challenge them. It's necessary to make people feel uncomfortable sometimes. But a peabrain would rather "not cause waves" I suppose.

  6. @echosixnoble I don't mind feeling uncomfortable because I know that life ain't all peaches 'n cream. Joy can't exist sans pain. Uncertainty always accompanies hope. Confusion goes hand in hand with limitless access to information. That's not a neanderthal's outlook you dolt. That's rational. But I suppose a peabrain doesn't understand these subtleties of life & living. Nah, you'd rather seek the "comfort" people supposedly had in the '50s when White Xtians had most & everyone else had bupkis.
