  2. In truth, people want the shootings to inspire a REaction from the President. It's time to tighten up on the regulations that are already on the books THEN start talking about extra restrictions. I agree that a 30-round magazine isn't safe in many hands but the guy that went nuts in Milwaukee used a 9mm; not ARs. We don't need a tragedy, consequent panic, 20/20 hindsight & new laws. We need to reform the laws that are already being broken... THEN we can talk about new measures.

  3. It's doesn't mater what I call it. The TRUTH is what matters. The TRUTH is that a man with a gun ain't the same thing as a man in war. If you can't differentiate the 2, you won't be allowed to talk anymore/

  4. 48,000 is NOT a drop in the bucket. It's too many people. Don't call it collateral damage. Call it what it is: unacceptable. That said, I don't think reactionary policy is going to help anyone. The notion of law-abiding citizens being more vulnerable to bandits is very immature on your part though. Guns don't save people either. Ultimately, in order to address situations like the mass shootings of late, we have to look at the regulations on the books. ie, how'd they slip through the cracks.
