  1. No. The Bible is an extremely violent book at times. Either way, you can't use cheery-pick your Christians or use a "no true Scotsman" fallacy. They're exacting their violent hatred under the banner of heaven. They're just as Christian as anyone else who claims the dogma. Wanna dissociate yourself from such vitriol? Dissociate yourself from that bullshit called "faith".

  2. It's a hairsplit to say that "stupid" is nominally different than "mindless". I'm inclined to think that they don't truly understand what they're doing therefore "motive" or "malice" is negated. I think it's a strange cycle of mindless people being socialized & trained by even more mindless people then the formers fall victim to corrupt leadership. But again, I think you have to be mindless to have such a deficit of empathy. Perhaps I'[m alone in that opinion.

  3. They are mindless. You have to be mindless to be that hateful. If you have a mind, that means you're sentient & you know that a person has many more dimensions than just his sexuality. But the idiots won't look past that. Hence they're mindless.

  4. I've read it. It's violent. To remove the fire & brimstone then pretend it's all warm & fuzzy Jesus is not only intellectually dishonest, it's untrue. Jesus was viciously tortured then murdered. Also, your supposition implies that the Old Testament has less relevance because it's "old". You can't cherry-pick the parts you like. Dogma doesn't work like that. In addition, you can't say they aren't Christian. You can say they don't speak for you but you can't tell then what flag they can carry.
