@JERMIAHTHEMESSIAH I guess I was trying to say that if they'd been motivated, they might be considered in the same context. After all, Genghis took control of Siberia but who the hell wants Siberia?

@JERMIAHTHEMESSIAH That's arguable. It really depends on context. I might be inclined to say that Genghis was only as good as his soldiers (many of whom were fierce women) were. I could argue that Napoleon & Hannibal were the best tacticians. But I'm not sure aggression is the best tactic to get what you want; even if what you want is control of something to which you have no right.
