@DcEatsItsYoung To put it a different way, not every Christian is publishing or broadcasting his views on homosexuals. That Christian might think certain things but it doesn't matter because that Christian isn't making his opinion a subject of public record. Here's another example. At night I work at a bar that attracts gangbangers. We eject them with high frequency if they're wearing colors or hollering "cuz" or "blood". That's not discrimination. That's refusing service.

@TheAnnoyingLifeKevin Nah. Some people don't deserve the right to be served. He's a prime case of that. He needs to know that if he's not, at the very least, astute enough to keep such stupid ideations to himself, he can't go certain places. He's trying to shape policy that would be intolerant & refuse certain liberties. The restarateur exercised her liberty to be intolerant of his intolerance. Fair trade is no robbery. Let him eat the pink slime from McDonald's.

@DcEatsItsYoung False equivalency unless you're kicking out EVERY Christian. I doubt you're making every patron fill out a survey on religion. THen every Christian would have to declare their ideas on epidemiology. THEN all those Christians would need to be in position where they shape legislation for a living. Since that's not the case, it's not discrimination. The restrateur threw out 1 person & gave the reasons why. That's exercising the right to refuse service; not discrimination.

@DcEatsItsYoung You sound stupid as hell right now. We're done here.

@DcEatsItsYoung I don't care if it's a term of endearment any more than I condone the use of the n-word. Irrespective of that fact, you can't argue with me about the hazards that gangs present. On top of that, you & your rhetoric don't have to deal with gangbangers. I do. So I toss them It's really that simple.

@DcEatsItsYoung What I think doesn't matter. What does matter is what happened in this instance & what set up the incident. I'm not the thought-police & neither was the business owner. She went specifically by Mr. Campfield's rhetoric & she subsequently cited said rhetoric as the motive for her decision. That's not discrimination. If a ton of people came in spouting their backward beliefs, you might have a decent premise. But let's say in reality.

@DcEatsItsYoung I don't give a fuck what it's "associated" with. What I know is that gangbangers aren't welcome in my place unless they leave that gang bullshit at the door. Discrimination is a pratice that's based on race, creed, gender or ethnicity. Gangbangers are trouble. I don't really need to tell you that. The fact that the senator published his bullshit publicly is cause enough to say "this guy may disrupt my business". You can actually argue that in court.

@DcEatsItsYoung There's a difference between "Christians" & 1 man making 1 in 1 interview. Why can't you understand that nuance? ONE person was ejected in ithis instance. A discrimination charge would get laughed UNDER the court. I hope you didn't study law.

Why didn't they just spit in his food like respectable restaurant staff?

@TheDurationPlusFive You evidently don't know what discrimination is. He wasn't tossed because of his membership in a certain group. He was tossed because he said some dumb shit publicly.
