Pat actually gave the guy the right answer. The asshole was looking for someone to let him off the hook for this heinous shit. He got it. I don't believe for a moment that it was "a friend" unless the friend was the extramarital lover. Anyone who takes their cues from Pat will always get the answer he or she is looking for. Typical.

@jadotjolais Don't take my word for it. Read the Book of Corinthians. I'm not a Christian either but it's my favorite, biblical stupidity. As for Robertson's advice, it goes contra to his own, professed dogma. That kinda inconsistency is what pisses me off the most about guys like him. As for the prospects not being cool with dating married men, I can imagine you don't wanna mess with the chick who lacks the sophistication to understand this unique situation.

@jadotjolais (cont'd) And you're quite correct about him taking care of his wife. It's his human duty. I'm just not so sure about divorcing the wife & taking all the assets. I'm not a judge or a lawyer. I've never been married or divorced. But I reckon this would be a no-fault divorce situation. I'd even hazard that the guy is trying to be ethical about it so he'd probably use the wife's resources to take care of her. I just hate that Pat cherrypicks his biblical scriptures to retrofit his ideas
