She was more of an alcoholic, sociopathic, megalomaniac. But she never killed anyone that I know of. That doesn't mitigate her awfulness. But that doesn't make her a psychopath either.

The basis is his religion though. It was predicated on a moral construct which is built on a religious foundation. If he were an atheist, we could say it was some kinda ethical conflict or phobia. But he expressly said what his motive was. Religion is to blame for a good deal of human, social illness.

He was a Christian Orthodox. Any avowal of atheism was for political ends.

Saying a good lawyer makes all the difference isn't an unsupported statement. Saying your logical fallacies aren't acceptable arguments isn't an unsupported statement. Critical thinking certainly ain't your strong suit.

The question is whether there's reason to not believe it. You see, I presented reasonable doubt. What you've done is created (more like implied) a corollary fallacy about atheists & crime. James is an atheist. James hasn't been convicted of a crime. Atheists don't commit crime. THAT is grasping at straws. Ain't critical thinking somethin'?

Cool story, bro.

That might just mean the atheists have better lawyers. Just sayin'...

Straws Hardly. A good lawyer is the difference between just being a suspect & a convict. It's really not debatable.

Sure I did. I said that it's fallacious to assume that disbelief in a god is the deciding factor in criminal convictions. I said it's more intuitive to consider the quality of lawyers. After all, that's the only thing that keeps you out of legal trouble in this country. It sounds like critical thinking isn't your strength.

Islam isn't atheism.
