@Starry2000 You think he doesn't have money? Are you insane? His movies were played a thousand times on a thousand channels in a thousand countries. He's still getting royalties. That's an old SAG agreement. That ain't to say Mila isn't paid too but I'm just sayin' Culkin is FILTHY.

@Starry2000 His parents may have gotten some of the initial monies but he recovered most of it. In any case, royalties go to the actor. That's a Screen Actors' Guild (union) rule that they made long ago. I was in a very bad martial arts movie (with Afro Ninja if you wanna know). I was just a henchman that got clobbered but my name was in the credits so I still get $10 whenever the movie gets played. Imagine the contract & the royalties McCauly gets from Home alone 2.

@Starry2000 HAve you forgotten that he was in The Good Son (which gets played fairly often). He was also in a Michael Jackson video that was played a zillion times when Michael Jackson died. That equals HUGE royalties. He was in Richie Rich. That movie still gets played. Royalties. He still does voiceovers too. He's nowhere near as big as Mila right now but he was on top of the world once. He's still got sick money.

@Starry2000 It was WB studios; that's major. The MJ video preempted regular TV programming. YES, Michael Jackson had that kinda juice. These are NOT obscure references. Maybe you're not old enough to contextualize this stuff but don't assume that since it ain't in YOUR sphere, it don't exist. Caulkin is STILL filthy rich. I've presented proof. Nuff sed.

@Starry2000 Like I said before, I still get a chump-change-check for being a guy that gets clobbered. In essence, I was an interactive extra. That's every 3-4months. That was an indie studio. So imagine a child actor in a movie (and its sequel) that's shown worldwide during the Xmas season. Add that to movies that are shown on specialty networks. Dig, people fight over dead actors' estates all the time. What do you think intellectual property is?

@Starry2000 Sponsors pay networks to advertise during programing. The SAG knows that & the SAG doesn't want the networks & advertisers to be the only 1's benefiting from viewers who consume. The SAG wants actors to be paid too because work as an entertainer is often sporadic. All that said, the guys who either get a fat contract for a role, a studio contract or a part in a movie that gets syndicated don't have to worry about money. So magnify the syndication effect by 1M & tell me what you get.

@Starry2000 I think you're missing the fact that American movies don't only play in the US. Yes, we probably have the largest consumer market but there's a pretty big world outside the US my friend. You think they don't watch Home Alone, Richie Rich & The Good Son in Europe, Asia or S. America? Sheeit.

@Starry2000 Dude, a MICHAEL JACKSON VIDEO is NOT obscure. The Good Son, although you missed it, was a major feature by 20th Century Fox. It grossed >$60M in 1993. Richie Rich was 1 of those comic strip movies that came out at a time when it seemed like that's all the writes could do. It didn't do well at the box office but it still gets run to this very day. Caulkin gets paid for those runs. That's NOT obscure.
