In fact, I said I've no problem with someone being a hunter or even a collector. I'm not afraid of anything.   8. It's based on a basic understanding that all people don't need guns just like every person doesn't have any business driving a car. Hence we need better regulation. But most of all, we have to get away from this psychology of the gun. Guns don't solve problems. The majority of the time, they make things worse.

  14. It's flawed because handguns are made to kill people. Cars aren't. Liquor isn't. I don't need any examples to support that basic fact. You're grasping at straws instead of regarding the germane topic. Proper gun regulation is needed. If we're going to make any progress, we must get away from the psychology of the gun. Don't wrap yourself in the majesty of the 2nd Amendment then argue other bullshit when your views are challenged.

  15. A knife & a gun are 2 completely different weapons. A guy with a knife is 100X scarier than a person with a gun. Why? Because a knife, as they say, is a conversation piece. Guns lend themselves to carelessness. Guns are too easy to misuse. Unless you're in some remote area where access to emergency police response is limited or you're in an area where home invasion is en vogue, there's no real reason to have a gun in your home. I can understand a hunter/hobbyist but otherwise there's no point.
