  1. Spare me the "impressionable" thing. Kids are more influenced by their peers than teachers at that age. Furthermore, I didn't see anything that pended injury. I didn't hear anyone crying out in fear or discomfort. The way you toughen kids up & by making them do their chores so that's got nothing to do with this video. I dare say that mass roughhousing isn't what caused Columbine. Hell, that's the same school district that was so pussified that it banned Tag. If anything, it's the opposite.

  4. I wish it were my opinion. It's not though. I'm not only a surrogate grandparent, I'm an uncle, a coach, a mentor, a math teacher & most of all, a man who's not far removed from those years. And yes it IS substantiated by social sciences. Look at any study of adolescent behavior. You literally pulled that bullshit out of thin air. Nothing in the video that I saw pended injury. I'm 6'5 1/2", 240lbs. I can wrestle without injuring. You sound like a fool.

  8. I'm not sure this was actual bullying. It looks to me like shenanigans. I know hs kids are a little different but my father's Upward Bound kids used to always jump on him. When I was a coach/teacher, I didn't mind if my kids physically challenged me. I didn't see any socks going in mouths in the video. That's not cool at all. BUT, this video looks like skylarking to me; not complicit bullying.
