@bonesdoc11 Horseshit. The admin's concern was to alienate a small handful of its students. Spare me the nonsense about "rules" & "dress codes". Cowards hide behind "policy" so they don't have to do any substantive engagement. Besides, there's no "policy" about "dressing like a boy". What is it that YOU don't understand.

This is about some snarky nitwits that ruined a young girl's prom because she's a little different. That's nonsense. I could see if we were talking about a private cotillion. But we aren't. This is a prom at a public school. "... save the entire rest of the student body." From WHAT? Was she going to detonate some kind of homosexual bomb? Play too much Melissa Etheridge? What?

@weeeezzll I heard a li'l something about those 2 instances you brought up. I was wondering about those schools when I heard Ana report. You're absolutely right. But what bugs me is how ANY parent could let their kid attend a segregated prom OR attend a school that would sanction segregation. Honestly, I'd tae my id out of school then sue the district. We can't teach our kids this kind of bullshit then wonder why races tend to be suspicious of each other. It's sickening.
