  1. it's fairly easy to say "believer not the belief". but in truth, the belief isn't a static abstraction. the belief is a set practices performed BY its believers. we're not talking about a small handful of people either. we're talking about a civil war among 20M people occupying a country the size of west virginia. that's dense. but the some buddhists have killed some countrymen of theirs. i'm sorry if you don't like that truth. neither do muslims, christians, jujuists, taoists, etc.

  2. 1 last, personal recommendation. make the distinction between truthful speech & hateful speech. all the zenspeak in the world can't hide the facts about those dudes in sri lanka. all the zenspeak in the world won't change your error with that "ant" comment. you're not "allowing" or "letting" me be correct. i AM correct. you can't exert any power over me (although i've responded excessively. but i don't think you were trying to elicit that response). you can't arbitrate right & wrong either.

  6. i never asked you to "make me happy". i pointed out the myth of the peaceful buddhist. which is the same myth of the solemn muslim, the gentle christian or the thoughtful jew. treating religion like it's untouchable or omnipotent is a farce. stop being so self righteous about your religion. stop masking potshots at me (and my humanity) as erudite wisdom. you ain't no better (or worse) or more enlightened (or less enlightened) than me 'cause you're buddhist. get your ass off your shoulders.

  10. here's the thing. you're congratulating yourself about ants. in some roundabout way you're attempting to equate me to an insect. don't think i'm a stupid man jest because i may be a gruff man. in truth, you initiated a discussion with me. it's you that's being the bothersome ant. either way you understand that some people, who claim to share the same belief as you, have committed inhumane atrocities. i didn't disturb the universe's karmic balance. some buddhists did that.
