@ryonalionthunder I was thinking the same thing. BUT I think many of us burned ants with a magnifying glass. I didn't I remember marveling at my friend doing it. Kids are kids & they don't truly understand mortality. What's more is that the child in this video is from a war zone. That means her understanding of life's indispensibility may be skewed too. Let's hope she grows up.

@jotunobsidianeyes I'd hazard that she suffers from a sort of PTSD given where's she's from. I'm not sure if there's any "recovery" from that. It's for us, as liberals, to hope that she "gets treatment" & "gets better". But in truth, this level of cruelty might just be par for the course among many people over there. Does that mean they're all a nation of puppy drowners? No. But this behavior doesn't shock me at all. Here's hoping the parent/guardian has her under a close eye.

@NOVAGIRL666 No. We don't need meat to survive. We can actually synthesize proteins if we eat vegetables & nuts that provide simple amino acids. Humans still eat meat for many reasons. It tastes good. It's marketed to us. It's more practical for certain lifestyles. etc. And as a vegan, she (veganchick) can be indignant. Her eating habits bestow her any high ground but at least she's not fundamentally hypocritical (if she owns no leather or personal care products that use animal testing).

@ryonalionthunder I did some mean stuff to my friends in my adolescence that I regret to this very day; I'm 35. I can honestly say that I wasn't cruel to animals though. I've an 18yo sister who does some questionable shit across the board. I'm hoping she grows up. But who knows? Kids are worse & worse these days.
