  1. True. I think Charlie Rose, Ken Burns, McNeil Lehrer, Nova, etc. are liberal w/o a doubt. BUT, Mclaughlin Group, FRONTLINE are "conservative". Either way, we can't deny who pays for both: liberals & liberal foundations. Don't get me wrong, as a radical I'm all for it. But I don't have any misgivings about what my brand is.

  2. As you know, I was talking about the Nat'l Endowment for the Arts, John D & Katherine T & pledges from viewers/listeners like you & me. lol. Far be it for Gingirch to approve of anyone having access to something other than behaviorist learning models & church. In a sense, I think PBS/NPR may be the last bastion of actual thought (as opposed to the reactionary dreck we see on the cable networks). But let's be quiet, some neo-con may hear us & forbid little Travis from watching Elmo.

  4. In fairness, NPR/PBS is liberal as hell (in fact, I'd call it radical; the good kind). But bear in mind that liberal & democrat aren't exactly the same thing. But you're definitely correct. MSNBC (a sister of CNBC) definitely picked up the left demographic while Fox Network Comedy tacked onto the neo-cons.
